Biography
Born in Brecht-Belgium, close to the Dutch border, I have since then been moving around: university studies in Leuven-Belgium (Economics degree) and Nancy-France (European Integration), followed by military service (finishing a career in the reserves as a commander of the Marines).
Professionally, I started my career at KB (now KBC) a major Belgian bank, after which I served as a special counsel to the Belgian Secretary of State of Finance. The next 20 years I spent in the pharmaceutical industry, in different countries (Belgium, Italy and Germany) and different functions culminating in the role of CFO for Emerging Markets Europe with Pfizer. Subsequently I joined The Gap Partnership, a major negotiation consultancy company. There, I specialized in assisting clients in their commercial, healthcare-access and employment relations negotiations.
In 2022, together with my partners we created Impact Negotiation Group with the clear purpose of providing the client with a tailor-made negotiation approach, being it training or consulting.
In my free time, I am still a “victim” of the travel bug and next to what most people consider boring, I still swim daily numerous lanes in the swimming pool, whether abroad or at home.
