Biography

I was born in Paris, France to Belgian & Costa Rican parents. We then quickly moved to Antwerp, Belgium where I spent the first part of my childhood. At age 10, we moved back to Paris where I finished high school. This experience had motivated me to discover a new country which is why at age 18, I decided to go to college and move to Rotterdam, The Netherlands. There, I pursued a Bachelors in Business Administration, followed by a Masters in Finance quickly thereafter. I was somehow swayed by the Dutch culture and was lucky to call Rotterdam my home for the next 16 years.

Curious and not wanting to follow a traditional career path, I joined a small 30-person tech start-up that had ambitions to take over the world. There, I was lucky to fulfill many different sales roles and grow exponentially with the organisation until it was acquired by Siemens for €628 million. This was a good moment for me to step outside my comfort zone again and broaden my skillset further. A subject that was always on the back of my mind then, was the subject of negotiation. Needless to say, I had been in many negotiations before, but I felt I had much to learn in that domain. I was fortunate to stumble upon and organization called The Gap Partnership at exactly that time of acquisition after having been on one of their workshops called The Complete Skilled Negotiator. This is where I realised, I needed to know more about this. I then joined The Gap as a consultant and was able to train over 400 different buyers and sellers throughout Europe in English, Dutch and French.

Sometimes, in life, there are moments you realise there is so much more you could do with the knowledge you have. This is why I joined Jan, Marc and Martin on an adventure to push the boundaries of what is possible in realizing untapped value for organisations and individuals using the vast knowledge of negotiation we have together.

I currently live in Antwerp together with my girlfriend. In our free time, we love to discover new restaurants and enjoy the little things in life. We also love to have quality time with friends, play board games and go the gym together.

Lastly, I am a sucker for knowledge and passionate about negotiation. This means, I devour non-fiction books about psychology, persuasion, negotiation and anything business related that potentially has that extra nugget that could unlock value for my clients.
